TECHNICAL INFORMATION:

3. There are 7 jetties in the port.
1,2 and 3 numbered jetty / Length : 380 m, water depth : 13 m
4 numbered jetty / Length : 114 m, water depth : 9 m
5 numbered jetty / Length : 175 m, water depth : 6 m
6 and 7 numbered jetty / Length : 296 m, water depth: 8 m

4. Altitude of quay and jetty surface from water level : 2 m. 90 cm.

5. Resistance strength of quay / jetty : 5 tons/m².

6. Each jetties have rubber collision mats.

7. Total number of the bollards on the jetties: 38 and 9 of them have 35 MT of capacity. Remainings have 80 MT of capacity.

8. There are 2 electric generators at the port. One of them is 800 kWA and supplies energy for proper work of all port. The other one is 40 kWA and supplies energy for head office of the port.

9. There are workshops, crews and equipments for electrical, machinery maintenance and vessel repair facilities in the port.

10. The port has high technology of all communication systems such as; 12 lines of telephone, radio-set hand phone for serving the vessels , fax machine, modem line, internet, 14 hand type radio-set for in-port use and 2 VHF.

11. Each jetties, warehouses and open spaces have own illumination systems. All mentioned areas can be illuminated like day-light, whenever it?s required.

OPERATING INFORMATION:

12. The drinking water of Yuvacık Dam (Thames Water Turkey) is used at quay and jetties.

14. The port has high way connection.

15. The port has been all surrounded with walls and wire fences. The port has just 1 (one) entry-exit gate.

16. There are security stuffs who can control the entries and exits twice time at the gate. On the other hand, the port has security cams at every necessary places at they can be watched from the security central and head office.

17. The area which uses as a parking field for land vehicles is 2500 m².

18. Operating time of the port is 24 hours a day as 3 shifts. The number of the labors can be changed subject to the vessel traffic and the kind of the material charged-discharged.

19. The equipment consists of 2X15 MT, 6X10 MT, 10X7 MT, 8X5 MT, 5X4 MT and 10X3 MT of forklifts, 1X440 MT, 1X330 MT, 4X150 MT, 2X100 MT, 3X70 MT, 7X60 MT, 4X30 MT and 2X150 MT of LHM mobile cranes, 1X70 MT of fixed crane are available at the port. Besides, 9 pieces of excavators, 1 Volvo broom which uses for cleaning the area, 4 Beko with tread and 3 loaders with tyres are also available.

20. Security and health units are 1 km away from the port and inside the borders of the municipality of Hereke. Coast health and customs organizations are 10 km away from the port. Besides, the port consists customs protection unit management.

21. The port has, 2x100 and 1x80 MT of electronic and computer aided weighbridges.

INFORMATION ABOUT FIRE AND ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY:

22. The port has fire extinguishing water line which covers all port area and can be served to all jetties. The fire alarm system for 1,2 and 3 numbered bonded warehouses, fire extinguishers at various points of the port and the mobile fire vehicle (foam supported) with motor are also available.

23. There is no any unit for discharging the solid or liquid churns.

24. In order to prevent sea pollution, all necessary measures are taken at the time of charging-discharging.

25. The port consists an infirmary and a car which is ready for 24 hours, in order to arrive to the health and first aid centers which are 1 km away from the port. Besides, there is an ambulance in the plant which is 7 km away and can be used 24 hours.

26. The radiation detection system which can check the cargos is located in the port.
